A lovely example of a high quality travelling backgammon set dating from the mid 20th century. It comes with a folding board in an oak case, a complete set of counters, 5 dice, two dice shakers and an instruction booklet. The board itself is a cork type material.
The set is in good condition for its age. The oak box is showing some signs of age and use and there are a few chips and marks but nothing detrimental. The case that holds the counters is slightly worn and loose on the seam. Some of the board markings are slightly worn but the whole set is still very usable.
