A lovely Arts and Crafts style dinner gong dating from the early 20th Century. It is excellent quality and the brass gong hangs in a carved wooden frame with intricate heart and leaf designs. It also has a wooden handled beater hanging to one side.
It is in good condition for its age. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and displays very well. There are some minor signs of age and use, some small knocks and marks and some tarnishing on the brass but nothing detrimental.
