A good example of an arts and crafts style hall lantern dating from the early 20th Century. It has four panels of clear textured glass in a metal frame with riveted detailing and four shaped vents around the top. It has a hanging loop which could be extended by chain or hung as it is.
The lantern has been re-wired with a simple hanging flex cord and modern bayonet bulb holder.
The lantern is in good original condition with no major damages. The metal has tarnished but the glass is all in good condition and it displays very nicely. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
