Product Details

A beautiful pewter twin handled bowl in an elegant stylised Art Nouveau design with trees and insects. It has the quote "and the woodbine spices are wafted abroad, And the musk of the rose is blown" - from the poem Maud by Alfred Lord Tennyson. It is fully stamped on the bottom of the bowl ; "Tudric. 011". Believed to be designed by David Veasey for Liberty & Co circa 1902.

It is in good original condition. It has been used and as such there are some light surface scratches and small marks here and there but nothing detrimental. There are some small dents around the top rim (see photos) and some other small dinks and dents around the piece but overall it displays well. The outer has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
