A good quality Art Nouveau style Silver photo frame. The sterling silver frame is decorated with stylised leaves, flowers and wheat sheafs. The rear of the frame is covered with blue velvet and it has an easel back for standing the frame up. The inside board is covered in a blue silk.
It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1903 and the maker Samuel M Levi.

It is in good condition for its age and displays beautifully. There are signs of age and use, some light surface marks and some small dinks around the frame, particularly on the top edge (see photos) but nothing too detrimental given its age. There is some minor wear to the silk lining and velvet back and the ribbon holding the easel arm has been replaced at some point but it is strong and sturdy. The silver has been gently cleaned and polished and the frame is ready for use.
