A good example of an Art Nouveau style hall lantern dating from the early 20th Century. It has a central clear glass cylinder around the bulb which is surrounded by stylised hand beaten brass arms.
The lantern has been re-wired with a simple braided cord and standard bulb holder. It hangs on a small length of brass chain and comes with a brass ceiling rose.
The lantern is in good original condition with no major damages. The metal has tarnished over time to give a nice aged patina. The glass is all in good condition and it displays very nicely. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
