A lovely Art Deco circular silver box with hinged lid. The size is likely to make it a small vanity pot or a large pill box. The top is inlaid with a pretty silver swag design on a faux tortoiseshell ground.
It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1919 although the makers mark has rubbed.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some general signs of age and use and some small disks but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and overall it displays very well.
