A beautiful Art Deco table lamp dating from the 1930s. The base is made of chrome with a stylish hexagonal foot and a chrome shade ring. It has a beautiful pale green mottled glass shade with a typical Deco stepped angular design.
It is in working order and has been rewired to modern standards to take a bayonet bulb (bulb not included). It is also PAT tested for electrical safety. We would advise using a low wattage LED bulb to prevent the glass shade getting too hot.
The lamp stands approximately 20" (51cm) tall. The base is 5" (13cm) diameter and at its widest, across the glass shade, it is approximately 6" (15cm) in diameter.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages, just a few small nibbles around the edge of the glass shade but nothing detrimental. The chrome has tarnished slightly in places but it has been cleaned and gently polished and displays beautifully.
