A beautiful Art Deco table lamp dating from the 1930s. It is made of chrome with a stylish round stepped base with an on/off press switch in the base. It has a beautiful pale white opaline glass shade with a similar stepped design.
It is in working order and has been rewired to modern standards to take a bayonet bulb (bulb not included). It is also PAT tested for electrical safety. We would advise using a low wattage LED bulb to prevent the glass shade getting too hot.
The lamp stands approximately 18" (46cm) tall. The base is 5" (13cm) diameter and at the glass shade is 5 1/2"(14cm) wide.
It is in good condition for its age. The chrome has tarnished and worn in places over time but it still displays beautifully. There are no major damages, just a few small nibbles and one small chip around the edge of the glass shade.
