A good example of an Art Deco chrome standard lamp. It is a simple geometric design, typical of the Art Deco period, with square graduated uprights on a wooden ebonised base. The chrome has been lightly polished and has a good shine, giving almost a mirrored effect.
It has been rewired to modern standards and takes a standard bayonet bulb.
The lamp is in good original condition. There are some small marks and scratches around the base and some light pitting and tarnishing to the chrome but nothing detrimental. It is strong and sturdy and displays beautifully.
