A good example of an original Art Deco chrome standard lamp. It is a simple geometric design, typical of the Art Deco period, with a black wooden stepped base. The chrome has been lightly polished and has a good shine, giving an almost mirrored effect.
It has been PAT Tested and rewired to modern standards and it takes a standard bayonet bulb.
The lamp is in good original condition. There are some small marks and knocks around the base and some light pitting and tarnishing to the chrome but nothing detrimental. It is strong and sturdy and displays well.
