A lovely old cash box dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. The interior consists of a tray with 6 various sized wooden coin pots which lifts out to reveal a further storage section below, presumably for notes or receipts. The box has its original key and a brass carry handle.
It is in very good condition and displays well. It has been cleaned and gently waxed and the inside is clean and tidy. It is not without some minor knocks and scuffs which add to its age and character but there is no major damage.
