A lovely example of a hand made Noah's ark dating from the early to mid 20th Century. The ark itself has hinged front doors and a hinged roof to give access to the inside.
It comes with a variety of original wooden animals including elephants, camels and rhinos. All are in pairs apart from the kangaroo of which there is only one. It also comes with a small wooden man and woman but these don't look original to the set.
It is in good condition for its age and displays very nicely. There are some signs of age and use and some small knocks, marks and minor paint loss around the boat and on the animals but nothing detrimental. One elephant has some damage to the end of his trunk but otherwise there are no major damages.
