A lovely oak side table dating from the mid 19th century. It has an unusual arrangement of one long over two short drawers. This, together with its rich oak colour, leads us to believe it was made in Wales. It stands on square chamfered legs and each drawer has its original turned wooden knobs.
It is in good original condition and is a good honest piece of country furniture. There are some signs of age and use, some minor old marks and knocks and there are some old stains and marks on the top but overall it displays well and is strong and sturdy. There are some minor signs of historic worm which has all been treated as a precaution. The table has been cleaned and lightly polished and is ready for use.
