Product Details

Good example of an early 20th Century Watchmaker's cabinet, originally used for storing watch glasses. It is made of pine and there are remains of some old yellow paint on the top. It is a good quality piece with 6 drawers each with a brass pull handle and remnants of handwritten paper labels stuck on the drawer fronts. The top four drawers are divided into 16 equal sections but these sections have been removed from the bottom two.

Overall, it is in good original condition and has developed a lovely worn and aged patina. It is not new and it is handmade so please do not expect it to be like new. The cabinet has picked up some knocks and scuffs and signs of wear over the years and there is a chip out of the wood on the back (see photo) but the drawers are generally clean and all run smoothly. Overall it displays very well and it is certainly usable.
