A lovely antique desktop inkstand dating from the late 19th Century. It is made of walnut with an ebonised carrying handle and ebonised pen trays. It has two large glass inkwells on the top and a drawer below with brass knob. It stands on four small bun feet.
It is in good condition throughout and although it has been used it has been well looked after over the years. There are some small signs of age and use, a few minor knocks, chips, splits and old repairs around the outside but nothing detrimental or untoward. There are no major damages to the inkwells and the hinges are in good order.
