A superb example of a stuffed and mounted Otter head dating from 1930. He has been well preserved and skilfully mounted on an oak shield. He has a snarling, alert expression with an open mouth and bright eyes. There is a brass plaque engraved "River Culm. 26-8-30".
He is in good condition for his age. His teeth and mouth have been beautifully modelled and are in good condition. His fur is generally thick and has retained a good colour. There are some minor signs of age and wear but nothing detrimental and overall the condition is very good.
