A nice example of a small tabletop collectors chest of 4 drawers dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It is made of stained pine and the drawers have small brass knobs. It could have once been used as a specimen / collectors chest but would also make a lovely jewellery box or stationery cabinet.
It is in good condition for its age and has been very well made and well looked after. The drawers are clean and tidy. There are some minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental and overall the piece displays beautifully. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
