An original antique measuring chain stamped 'Decametre'. The metal chain links measure approximately 7 3/4" (19.5cm) long each and it has two handles at either end of the chain. It also comes with 4 copper marker rods.
It is in good original condition and has been gently cleaned and oiled. There are signs of age and use, some general marks and tarnishing but nothing detrimental and it displays very well.
