A lovely antique pine sideboard dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. It has a thick planked top, two nicely panelled doors with brass knobs and it sits on a simple plinth base. The doors open to reveal a shelved interior with a boarded floor.
It is in good condition and the pine has mellowed to an attractive colour over the years. It has been cleaned and given a smooth waxed finish, retaining its lovely aged patina. The shelves inside are generally clean and tidy although there are a few old stains and marks. There are of course signs of age and use, some old shrinkage splits and marks here and there but nothing untoward or detrimental. It displays very nicely and is ready for use.
