A lovely stripped pine sideboard dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. There are 3 drawers, each with turned wooden knobs and to the right of the drawers is a cupboard with panelled door which opens to reveal a shelved interior. It stands on a simple plinth base and comes with a working key. The drawers open smoothly and the drawers and cupboards are both clean and tidy inside.
It is in good condition and the pine has a nice warm colour. It has been cleaned and given a smooth waxed finish, retaining its lovely aged patina. There are signs of age and use, some marks here and there and a few minor shrinkage splits but nothing untoward or detrimental. It displays very nicely and is ready for use.
