A very useful set of stripped pine shelves dating from the early 20th Century. It has an arrangement of 9 open pigeon holes, of varying sizes, around a central cupboard which opens to a shelved interior. It stands on small bracket feet and has a raised shaped gallery around the top edge.
It is a good quality piece and the pine has a lovely warm colour. It has good narrow proportions making it useful for hallway storage, books or even in a kitchen or bathroom.
It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. There are minor signs of age and use, a few small marks and knocks but nothing detrimental. There are some signs of historic worm which has all been treated as a precaution. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
