A lovely Art Deco desk calendar in a solid silver frame on an ebonised wooden base. It's a beautifully made desk calendar that has a great look. It has two metal knobs on the underside that turn the date cards and month cards. It also has two other knobs on the back which slide along a red line which can be moved to cross off the days of the month.
The frame is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham and W.J.Myatt & Co. The date letter O is hard to distinguish between 1913 or 1938.
Approximate Measurements :
Width : 6 3/4" (17cm)
Height : 4 1/4" (11cm)
Depth : 2" (5cm)
It's in good condition for its age. The silver frame has some small dents and marks here and there (see photos) but nothing major and the wooden base is in good order.
