A lovely example of an early 20th century stacking oak bookcase cabinet in the style of Globe Wernicke. The top section is a bookcase with a glazed door which opens up and over. Below this is a series of 12 filing drawers with brass label plaques and at the bottom is a long drawer with brass drop handles.
It is in good condition for its age and the oak has a nice aged patina. It is not without some signs of age and use and there are some faint marks on the top but nothing detrimental. The lining in the bottom drawer has been replaced. The bookcase has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
