A good example of an antique silver teapot. It is an elegant shape with reeded detailing, an angular wooden handle and a wooden knop finial. It is good quality, weighing a total of 547g.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1906 and the maker J.Sherwood & Sons.
It is in good condition for its age and displays beautifully. There are a few light marks on the wooden handle and it has had a small knock on the top. There are some minor signs of age and use, some general light surface marks and a small dink by the spout but no major dents or damages and it is certainly a very usable piece.
