A good example of a large solid Silver tankard of plain form on a round foot with a curved handle. It is engraved on one side "Alan from Bill. 1933". The tankard is good quality, weighing approximately 452g.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1932 and the makers Adie Brothers Ltd.
It is in good condition for its age but does have a few small marks and knocks picked up over the years. There are a few small dents and surface marks and some damage to the bottom of the handle (see photos) but overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
