A fine example of an antique solid silver bowl, most likely originally for sugar. It is stylish and good quality with a simple bulbous design and round foot and it has some engraved initials on one side. It weighs approximately 150g.
It is hallmarked for Walker & Hall, Sheffield, 1914.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays well. There are some faint surface marks, light scratches and a few small dinks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
