A fine example of an antique solid sterling silver Snuff Box. It is a good quality piece with an arts and crafts style hammered finish and a plain applied circle on the top.
It is hallmarked for London, 1904. The maker's mark is slightly rubbed but I am fairly confident that it is W.C which is likely to be for William Comyns.
It is in good condition for its age although it has picked up some small knocks, dinks and minor surface marks. There are a couple of small scratches and marks inside but no major damages and it displays beautifully. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
