A fine example of a large solid silver salver dish with ornate scrolling rim and beautiful engraved central motif. It is stylish and good quality and stands on three ornate cast feet. It weighs approximately 643g.
It is clearly hallmarked for Sheffield, 1906 and the makers Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall.
It is in excellent condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays well. There are some faint surface marks and minor signs of age and use but nothing untoward or detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
