A fine example of an antique solid silver cream or milk jug with bulbous shape, round foot and beautifully shaped rim. It is stylish and good quality and weighs approximately 78g.
It is hallmarked for Chester, 1906. The maker's mark is rubbed so I can't quite make it out.
It is in excellent condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and displays beautifully.
