Product Details

A fine example of a large sterling silver trophy with twin handles and a round footed base. It is engraved for the "Totnes Union Agricultural Society. Berry Pomeroy Meeting. 1932. Presented by the President His Grace The Duke of Somerset for the Best General Green Crop". It comes with its original ebonised turned base. The cup is a good quality piece, weighing approximately 567g.

It is hallmarked for London, 1928. The makers mark is worn but the rest is still distinguishable.

It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some light surface marks and a few small dents (see photos) but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
