Product Details

A fine example of an antique tea set consisting of a tea pot, milk jug and sugar bowl. The quality is superb and the silver is a good heavy gauge with a combined weight of 969g. It is a stylish set with an elegant Georgian shape, ribbed gadrooned detail and ebonised handles on the teapot.

Each piece is clearly hallmarked for William Devenport, Birmingham, 1905 and each piece also carries an engraved 'L' monogram.

The whole set is in excellent condition. There are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches and a small dink in the end of the spout but nothing untoward or detrimental and the set displays very well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
