A fine example of an antique solid silver tazza or comport. It is stylish and good quality with three handles and a beautifully pierced design standing on a heavy circular base. It is clearly hallmarked for S.Blanckensee & Son Ltd, Birmingham, 1910 and weighs approximately 378g.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks, minor signs of age and use and some small dinks but nothing detrimental. There have been a few small knocks on the handles leaving them ever so slightly misshapen but it is hard to notice. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
