A good example of an antique Sterling Silver milk jug or gravy boat. It is a large size with angular handle and it stands on four square feet. The jug is stylish and good quality and made of exceptionally heavy gauge silver weighing approximately 200g.
It is clearly hallmarked for John Rose, Birmingham, 1933.
Approximate Measurements :
Height : 3 1/4" (8cm)
Width : 3 1/4" (8cm)
Length inc Handle : 6 1/4" (16cm)
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks, some minor signs of age and use and a small dink below the pourer but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
