A good example of an antique Sterling Silver milk or cream jug. It has a bulbous shape with elegant scrolling handle, wavy rim and three feet. The jug is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 122g.
It is hallmarked for Robert Pringle & Sons, London, 1908. The hallmark is slightly rubbed but still distinguishable.
Approximate Measurements :
Height : 4 1/4" (11cm)
Width : 2 3/4" (7cm)
Length : 4" (10cm)
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and small dinks around the body and a few of the feet are slightly bent but nothing detrimental and it still displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
