An attractive and good quality 'Smoker's Bow' or 'Captain's' armchair dating from the early 20th Century. It has a comfortable wide and deep seat with broad arms, straight spindles and it stands on straight turned legs joined by a H-stretcher.
It is approximately 29" (74cm) high and it is 27" (69cm) wide across the arms. The seat is approximately 18" (46cm) deep and 17 14" (44cm) high.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. It is not without a few small marks and signs of age and use but no major damages or anything detrimental. There has been a small old repair to the stretcher and the chair is strong and sturdy. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
