A superb 19th Century slab top table standing on four square legs with a planked shelf below and a shaped upstand around the back and sides. It was likely originally used as a butcher's table or prep table and there are many old marks and cuts on the top surface.
It is in good condition for its age. There are many signs of age and use but no major damages and the whole piece is strong and sturdy. The legs are later than the top and have likely been replaced at some point. There are extensive signs of woodworm throughout the top and shelf which has all been treated as a precaution and haven't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically. It has been cleaned and gently waxed and is ready for use.
