A fine example of a small antique Sterling Silver vesta case. It is engraved with a pretty leaf pattern on both sides and has a small plaque engraved E.E.T. on one side. It has a hinged lid and a ribbed base for striking.
It is clearly hallmarked for Thomas & Marshall, Birmingham, 1910.
It is good quality and well made, weighing approximately 16g and measuring 4cm long x 3cm wide.
It is in good condition with a clear hallmark. There are no major damages and it displays well. There are signs of age and use, some faint surface marks, light scratches and a few small dinks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
