A fine example of an ornate solid silver twin handled cup with two scrolling handles in the form of mythical men with large horns. There is a border of vines and grapes around the top edge and it stands on a pierced round floral foot. It is stylish and good quality with a gilt interior and weighs approximately 192g.
It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1904 and the maker Wakely & Wheeler.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are signs of age and use and a few minor surface marks but no major damages and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
