A good example of a traditional Trefid style spoon with distinctive three pronged end. This spoon has an interesting history and was won as a prize. The handle is engraved "Tyne & Durham L.I.Brigades Officers Shooting Competition. Harton Moor Range. Aug 30th 1902. Highest Score, Won by ... Lieu't Col C.H.Scott 5th B.D.L.I"

It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1901 and the maker Thomas Bradbury. The spoon weighs approximately 61g.

It is in very good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks but no major damages or anything detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
