A good example of a small solid silver tray with all over ornate repousse design and a raised scalloped edge, most likely used on a dressing table. It has a central cartouche which is engraved with the initials MH. It is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 90g.
It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1908 and the maker C.H.Dumenil.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks here and there but there are no major damages and it displays beautifully. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
