A fine example of a four division Sterling Silver toast rack. It is a stylish good quality piece, weighing approximately 88g and has an angular design with a shaped handle. It is clearly hallmarked for James Deakin & Sons, Sheffield, 1932.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches and some minor dinks and dents but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
