A good example of a solid Sterling Silver sugar caster. It is a traditional cylindrical shape with a pierced top and turned finial. It is a stylish and good quality piece, weighing approximately 130g. It is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1912 and the maker W.J.Myatt & Co. The marks are slightly worn but still distinguishable.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and a few light surface scratches, some small dinks and the top finial has taken a small knock but nothing detrimental and overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
