A fine example of a solid silver sugar basket. It has a swing handle and stands on an oval foot. The basket itself is beautifully shaped with a wavy rim and ornately decorated with an engraved border and an armorial crest on the foot.
It is excellent quality and weighs approximately 147g. It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1907 and the maker Garrard & Co.
It is in excellent condition for its age. There are a few minor surface marks but no major damages and it displays beautifully. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
