A good example of an antique silver plated desk stand complete with two glass inkwells. It is a stylish and good quality piece with two pen trays, a carrying handle and four small bun feet.
It is marked on the base for the makers Mappin & Webb.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are no major damages, just some faint surface marks, a few light scratches and minor dinks but nothing detrimental. The plating has worn in places but it still displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
