A good example of a solid Sterling Silver pepper shaker. It is a stylish and good quality piece with a handle, a gilt interior and it weighs approximately 47g.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1907 and the maker Gourdel Vales & Co.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and a few minor dinks around the rim of the lid but nothing detrimental and overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
