A good example of a solid Sterling Silver pepper shaker. It is a stylish and good quality piece in the form of a large acorn or egg on a round foot. It weighs approximately 29g.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1912 and the maker Robert Chandler.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and a few light surface scratches and a small dent near the top (see photo) but overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
