A superb antique glass scent bottle / chatelaine on a gilt chain with finger ring. The bottle is excellent quality with beautiful opaque milk glass and the most ornate silver gilt cage depicting birds and leaves. The top is hinged and has a delicately engraved design.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some general signs of age and use and the hinge has a little bit of play but nothing detrimental. There are no cracks or damages to the glass. Unfortunately it is missing its internal glass stopper. It has been cleaned and gently polished and overall it displays very well.
