A fine example of an Edwardian Sterling Silver Christening cup. It has a tapering form with rounded handle and the front is beautifully engraved with an ornate cartouche. However it has never been engraved with any initials so would make a great gift. It is stylish and good quality and it weighs approximately 195g.
It is clearly hallmarked for Walker & Hall, Sheffield, 1905. It is also stamped on the bottom for Walker & Hall.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and some minor dinks but nothing detrimental and it displays beautifully. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
