A good example of a sterling silver match box cover with attractive cherub design. It stands on four small ball feet and it has its original wooden liner.
It is clearly hallmarked for S.Blanckensee & Son, Birmingham, 1902.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some small dinks and minor surface marks and general signs of age and use but no major damages and it displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
